Who the hell is Feral Chaos?

Feral Chaos... That absolutely insane beast that runs around the field doing his daily exercise.

Feral Chaos is what would Chaos turn into after 018. He absolutely dominates his weaker self any day. He IS the representation of ULTIMATE POWER. His moves have great priorities and range. He can easily be anywhere and anyone and even at the same time. He can generate a CRAPLOAD of EX Force, has good damaging assists, tracking and his attacks kick ARSE.

And there are also drawbacks: vertical combat is hard for him, he is LARGE, even larger than the Normal Chaos so it would be hard to dodge many attacks that you can easily get out to if you are not using FC. He has a constant BRV drain, cannot use EX and Assists (though he has accessories that can nullify his EX and Assist freeze)... The worst of all is about his CP. If the other characters can have 10 CP when their abilities are mastered, FC's mastered abilities size up from 20 all the way to 50 so you have to pick very well your moves.

BRV ATTACKS

Ground Moves


Snarl - Chaos swipes the opponent swiftly and twice, moves forward with every swipe. Can be guarded, not really recommended for me.

Vicious - Chaos stops for a second then leaps forward covering himself in flames. It can catch the opponent in the air, in his path. Recommended, since it staggers the opponent, it leads to a Wall Rush or Chase.

Spew - Chaos slams the ground, creating an area of fire under his opponent, which shoots fire up and launches the enemy upward. His slam can also cause bravery damage before the fire. When the opponent is falling, this attack will whiff. It has good tracking. Not quite recommended, because you need to send the enemy down to earth, not to launch him into air.

Erupt - Chaos covers himself in flames and goes vertically upward, spinning himself and knocks the opponent away. Can be cancelled by letting go of the O Button. Hits anything above him, but has bad horizontal range. Melee mid priority and staggers. Recommended especially against air-type characters when you need to go up and slam them down back to earth.

Air Moves

Destroy - Chaos spins around, slashes first, then flips his body using his tail to attack. Good vertical range because of the tail attack, moves slightly forward. Can be guarded. Not recommended

Brute Force - Chaos lunges towards the opponent, slashing the enemy. Has melee mid priority, and crushes opponents' blocks. It sends the enemy downwards, leading to a Wall Rush or Chase. Very strict timing for Chase the moment the attack finishes. BEST RECOMMENDED because it makes the enemy suffer and thrashes the opponent down to the ground.

Splinter - Chaos stops, then kicks in midair, generating flames towards the opponent. Can stagger guards. Travels fairly far from Chaos, but cannot hit directly above or below. Leads to Wall Rush or Chase. I can recommend using this, especially against aerial opponents.

Raid - Chaos rockets himself downward. When you hold it all the way to the ground, it slams the opponent and it launches the enemy away. Leads to Wall Rush and Chase. BEST RECOMMENDED to drag the opponent from air down to the ground.

HP ATTACKS

Ground Moves

Deus Iratus (Angered God) - Chaos roars, creating a field around him. Deals brave damage, and has a medium priority self guard (like Delta Attack/Shield of Light, only body wide). Deals extra bravery damage if you mash the Square button. Launches opponent very far away on hit, leads to WALL RUSH. Recommended for small stages.

Quo Vadis (Where are you going?) - Feral Chaos stops for a moment, then teleports out of reality (which allows you to dodge projectiles and melee attacks), then teleports back in. If he hits, will carry the opponent up, hitting them 5 times for BRV damage (last hit also does HP damage, slamming them downwards). During the move can wall rush before its over, but he'll continue the move still hitting them anyway leading to even more BRV damage. Laggy upon miss, leads to WALL RUSH. (MAXIMUM CHAOS!) Recommended.

Via Dolorosa (Deceitful Way) - Chaos slams his tail down twice, creating pillars of fire, which can be a good anti-air attack. Tail slam deals BRV Damage at point blank. Pillars crushes low priority projectiles. The second wave can be delayed by holding the Square Button. Recommended. DF guys say it is OP, which actually isn't. Try using Searchlight and FC is as good as punished.

Air Moves

Ventus Irae (Wind of Wrath) - Feral Chaos roars, creating a close range gust of wind, dealing BRV damage before the HP attack hits. During wind gust, has invincibility. Launches far away, leads to WALL RUSH. Recommended

Lux Magnus (Great Light) - Chaos will charge for a moment, then fires a laser straight down. Deals a lot of brave damage if everything hits, can move around freely on his current altitude level, can cancel early by releasing the Square button. Has no above or side protection, can drop opponent out of the move if you move to fast/far while they are trapped. Leads to WALL RUSH. Not really recommended since you get to be grounded by Feral Chaos.

Flagro Maximus (Greatest Explosion) - Feral Chaos charges for a moment before firing an explosion trail at his opponent. Travels ok distance, rather slow, can relfect projectiles back. Can charge by holding the [] button to increase the range it fires, Is a melee attack so if guarded (omni, jecht or precision) you will stagger. Launches far away horizontally, leads to WALL RUSH. Recommended

EX MODE

Feral Chaos turns into a magma-like form, gaining ATK +1, DEF +1, movement speed increase, regen and critical chance up, AND A BLOODY HELL OF KICKARSE ATTACKS

EX BURST

Feral Chaos has 2 parts of his EX Burst

First Part - Regnum Dei (Kingdom of the God): Feral has one of the most unique bursts, as it functions in two parts. First he will grab his opponent and throw them into his dimension, a small round battle field, dealing BRV damage. Then a timer will start at 20 seconds before the next part of the move starts. Until then both you AND your opponent can move freely and fight just as before, allowing you more time to get more BRV for the final attack, making it possibly the strongest EX Burst in the game. You can't be EX broken by assists, but you can be BRV broken and take HP damage. As well if your opponent is able to use there EX Burst, you'll exit out out of your burst prematurely. All BRV moves are unblockable in this area

Second Part - Nex Ultimus (Ultimate Murder/Bloody Death):
After 20 seconds, or if you press R + Square before hand (you can only end it early if you are in a normal state not attacking), Feral will grab his opponent, and in a very cool shadowy cinematic attack, will hold them as his swords impale his opponent MULTIPLE times, which then leads to him in a close up (the colors distorted) as Feral grabs and crushes the POV (the opponent), leading to the screen to flicker off like a TV turning off.

Sony HAS warranties deactivating your PSP for 2 seconds because of Nex Ultimus, no? HAHA LOLz
